Starting a campaign for #TateforNumber8 Seriously, Tate was incredible for that Lions game replacing Pietsch, 5 tackle busts as a dwarf. This should've been his EOYT to cement his starting 9. Poor bastard.

Tupou rested is the only unforced change I disagree with. He's got two potential games left before a continuous conveyor belt of pain au chocolats directly into his mouth and we might never see him again. Get all you can out of him. Samu was terrible, Tizzano's been a weapon. I like Daugunu...

With Carter Gordon missing out through injury

All Blacks & AB XV Northern Tours 2025

It disgusts me that England have some real depth across vital positions with a healthy mix of young and old, pricks. Gonna be kick, kick, kick with that backline. Puuuhhhleease put England to the sword. I'd have to move to a remote internetless hermitic village, like Adelaide, if they beat you.

What I don't get is that we finish within a score or two of the Lions, England, South Africa and New Zealand. Would Italy be able to do that?

Bit of an overreaction, you can fly from Bordeaux to Dublin for a few hundred bucks. Hell, double it and give Willy some leg room.

Who's the Irish 10 these days? Do they persist with Prendergast? I've often thought he's quite a similar player to C. Gordon. Both young lopey runners with good passes, high ceilings but can often melt under pressure, in and out of the national team. Would be a fun match up.

    Super Rugby Pacific 2026

Yeah dunno about how many wins you'll get against NZ. They look like they've all held or improved their squads. But there's lots of wins up for grabs now in Aus.

We saw Jorgensen have an undercooked game for England because of illness. It's not crazy for him to be dropped for a player who's 100% fit. Kellaway kicking for sticks is pretty self-explanatory. If you want the upsides of C. Gordon you need to cover his deficiencies. Is Gordon + Kellaway's...

Poor form, I see you have a spare 30 minutes at your lunch break. Always space to watch 5th grade rugby.

Difficult to re-group for this. Ikitau straight in. Skelton went off with an ankle injury in an away loss for La Rochelle. Bit of a fluffybunny move to play him by O'Gara seeing as he never plays him for away games. O'Gara wasn't definitive about Skelton's injury but that he was 'gutted' and hopes...

Anyone know if Nicolo Lynagh is any good beyond the usual pundits?

    Wallabies v Italy - 9 November

Faessler had some real tough moments. One missed lineout throw and two forward passes off set plays hot on attack. Kills all momentum.

    Wallabies v Italy - 9 November

One of Carter Gordon’s strengths is his deception with where he looks when he passes. He’s so good at offloading it short whilst looking long. Compare it Edmed who telegraphs everything and will never surprise a defensive line. I’d be curious to see but I felt like we played off 10 so much more.

Toole did well to reclaim two high balls himself off our own kicks.
