Brumbies pack looking a touch to good in forwards. Canes definitely lose so much with Aumua out of front row in scrums. Devery is not staying with his props. They need to be smarter to compensate.

Also the Blues have looked so much better since BB has been at 10. They look a lot calmer. Gonna be a cracker against Crusaders next week!

I just watching a replay now fp, and noticed that in general Crusaders are placing the ball an arms length back and perhaps the Reds have it close to their bodies. Making it easy for Hotham to clear it I think.

I think RA is doing reasonably well on player retention (which the thread is about). How many important players have RA lost in reality? Not a huge amount. They are constrained (like NZR) on population base etc, and so isn't endless amount of coin to keep paying players what some can get in NH...

I wonder if there is some concern on the number of head knocks young Lynagh has had this year? I haven't counted them, but he seems to be getting a few, if I was his family,I would suggest maybe he needs to be aware of the danger. Also is there something worng with his technigue at tackle time...

Commentators do it every week, unfortunately commentators from each country know their own players best. Just a fact of life I guess, When Aus ones got my Canes players mixed up, and then I just shrugged and thought how hard it is if you can't see numbers etc, and sometimes the buggers look similar.

I know it sounds weak, but I always watch aftermatch interviews and really enjoy listening to how coaches speak (and players) you hear sometimes cliches etc , but sometimes you really can't help but be impressed

That's tough losing your 10 , with no specialists on bench. As a Canes man I know feeling, and I think it hurt Reds when they started to get shit together in 2nd half. Need some props, Nongoor unfortunately isn't really there at 3, and Faga'ase is perhaps past his best which was never that high...

No it was direct hit head on head, my point is most of those are accidenatal like Lynaghs was. No way do I think it is a YC.

If forecast right for tonight who get's advantage? Reds have surely had more training and wet weather this season, but the cold could swing it back towrds Crusaders?
