nervous I would imagine. The top 14 have shown year after year that France doenst have the production line of talent needed for their comp - so they pillage the rest of the world. If this supply of offshore players is choked, they may well be feeling nervous.

    NSW Rugby 'revolution'

I'm highly suss of Shute Shield clubs motivations in being involved here. year on year they provide less local talent into the system - any money they get seems to just get spent on players no matter where they come from.

yes agreed - that slug Gus Gould always talks about 'the other code' getting free press. They are almost as obsessed with it as the AFL. It was the opening story on the rthe radio tonight. Also said RA are not overly enamoured about it. So far we've had 10 players linked to R360 this week plus a...

    Wallabies 2025

yes with the advancement of sports science, I have changed my tune about players continuing well into their 30s. With our comparative lack of depth, we absolutely should be looking to retain this experience as much as possible. Slips and White have been crucial to the current rebuild. Coaching /...

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

I also think this will help club rugby. As opposed to developing their own talent, a lot of the Shute Shield clubs have raided offshore, country and interstate players which does nothing for the club game. This forces the development of good players back into the system. if a kid is dominating...

Hearing second hand that he was all over the new offshore rugby thingo - the name of which I have clearly forgotten. Make no mistake, mungos make any decision based on cash so its a simple process to get Cleary to rugby. ( you'd also think with a Kiwi dad, there would have been All Black chat at...

    Wallabies 2025

just shows that we actually really need a 5th supe club. Our lack of local depth is being seriously tested here. Seems crazy that if you make the starting super team at halfback these days, you're a guaranteed Wallaby.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Bledisloe rated 12 on Saturday on FTA. ( if someone has the STAN numbers that would help paint the full picture). reach 1.125 million and average 481k. AFL was reach of 6.1 million and average 4.1 million. Think the AFL wins. but they have zero games until next year. We have many. yay
