AB back row balance does not look right. what to do?
Surely you have better wingers available? Why not Narawa? Ricko not convincing, I may yet eat muy words, he and Reece play well against us.
Proctor looks military medium, which needs a super bouncy track or goes for three figures. I will...
So we are going to argue over who is the shittiest of the shit right now.
Both teams seem to be stuck in no-man's land for different reasons.
AB's have not deviated much from how we are used to them playing, but it seems like they lack the personnel in key positions for whatever reason, and I...
Boks so far:
Disjointed defense
Some players showing their age
Lots of injuries especially wings and 8
Bomb squad has been peashooter mob
Blackeness favourite by 100x
Options and options. And you need a few more options. Especially another real 8. Back row attrittion is always an issue. Going into 27 you need to know who is third in line at 6 and 8. Not a stop gap guy.
1. Too close for comfort.
2. Scmhidt is a damn good coach. Hell.
3. Wallabies can only get better. Still some personnel gaps (depth) but hopefully the next two years will unearth a few options.
4. The Boks age is showing and there is a definite sudden lack of self-belief.
5. All the talk of...
13. but you and the durty kiwis cousins threw us out like the unwanted ranga stepchild
14. We are god's chosen people. Sorry.
15. Never say never
16. Fine, as long as rugby is the winner.
17. Stop complaining Your daughters can now marry real men.
18. There is only one time and that's hammer time.
Based on the general Wallaby fan interweb:
1. Boks are done
2. Too old
3. Too slow
4. Oppo coaches have worked them out
5. Rassie is out of gimmicks
6. They're panicking
7. No leadership
8. Outdated game plan.
9. Unfit
10. Too much steroids has caught up with them and they all need to see...
So the packs from 50 to 60 minutes:
Bell, Amosa, Nongorr
Frost, Williams
Mcreight, ChampiondC, Hooper
vs
Venter vd Merwe Louw
Etsebeth De Jager
Mostert/JlDp, Kwagga, v Staden (Multiple permutations here could even by Nortje moving to blindside and JdLp plays 80. Depends who is most gassed)
I still believe it will be very very close but we have better closers this time and a way more physical bench who can come on and slow the game right down. So it is a completely different challenge. There will be no hail mary passes and sweeping backlines move. And a lot more kicking. Plenty more.
If I had a biscuit for every time someone doubts Mostert I would be an even fatter bastard. He is still one of the fittest guys in the squad. His stats speak for themselves. And absolute workhorse and on a wet track this weekend I will take him 100 times before anyone else except PsDT
