Don’t know that I’d be defending that tackle, regardless of card or intent. It was late, high, and no arms. And the winger got knocked out cold.

The other two probably bend the line better but he has a far higher work rate around the paddock and (I think) smarts. Doesn’t really matter at this stage but I prefer him as a 6/8 to make it at the elite level.

Controversial but I'm going to suggest their all round game and workrate is superior to the superlative 2023 edition (Nick, Bailey, Edwin, Nate) who all achieved NSW rep status. And two are only year 11.

Can't speak for who was out from New but Kings forwards were very impressive. Could have been a bigger margin, several easy goals missed, poor kicking in general play and looked under threat when New went wide which kept New in it. That would also explain the closeness of the II's which...

Yup, I’d say any of the top four has a good chance. If Kings get Risati and Sawyer back they’re my favourites. Two round comp rocks.

Dominant performance by Kings forwards today against a big New pack. Need better support from the backline kicking and outside defence to continue to threaten. Anyone know when Sawyer or Risati are back?

Every New try has been in the corner which they’ve then progressed to under the posts. Disappointing.

Kings forward pack has turned up. Not so sure about back three. Kicking game poor, would be daylight if Risati and Sawyer out there. New look best when going wide.
