Queensland Reds 2025

Wilson

Tim Horan (67)
Does he do anything else other than coaching?
Not that I'm aware of, but I think the BBC role was intended as a way of keeping in touch with the game while otherwise spending some time away from the pro side of things to reset, given he never really had a gap between playing and coaching in pro environments. This could be a sign he's looking at working his way back in now. I'd love to see him in an age grade role somewhere in Australia, it's where he's had the most success previously.

Would be good, where he lacked tactical IQ, he could instill a certain work ethic that could hugely benefit younger players.

He'd be a fantastic guy for RA to have be a Forwards coach/mentor from U20s through to 16s. His perceived intensity is fine when it's for short camps and tournaments. It's really what you want in those thrown together periods.

I thought Brad had kids that went to BBC so it was a great way to be involved with the school and keep in touch with keeping the brain busy?
Would it also reduce tuition fees for his kids?

The tuition fees at Brisbane Boys' College for the academic year 2025 are as follows:

Ignoto

Geoff Shaw (53)
They used to have a significant discount for the son of wallabies / internationals. Thus names like Tune, Tuqiri, Kefu, Thorn turned up. Not all of whom had their dads rugby abilities.
The irony is, two of the schools most recent and successful rugby players (Horwill and Genia) were full fee students (with Will being a boarder).

Just checking is Will McCulloch the young winger from Norths injured or on the outer? or is Cartwright the prefered option for wing these days? Who are we thinking our 4 contracted wingers are for 2026.

I think he’s been injured a bit? Played recently in one of the games? Maybe Tonga? I’d have him well above Cartwright.

Meanwhile our 19s look like boys against men. On the back of the loss in SRAU and the women, perhaps the QRU should have let RA take over their high performance.

QRU need to be questioned about their high performance. That talk a big game but haven’t won shit at any level for a long time.

They make these bullshit claims about their aspirations about where the ‘brand’ will be but there’s no substance to it. Like the way they call Ballymore the home of women’s rugby - when the reality is the Wallaroos spend bugger all time there.

As an organisation it lacks any substance.
