The Reds need to work out how to close a game out, this is not the first one I have seen them fluff it. Keep hold of the ball and do the simple stuff and don't kick the bloody ball under any circustances unless it's past 80. I also thought their D was poor in parts, if you let Fiji run with an umbrella defence, you are asking for it.
Very bloody annoying and at this time of the season.

Agree, I would never have thought that McRight would be outplayed by Tizzano, but if the Wallabies were picked after this weekend, I think Tizzano would get the nod.

Yeah, I doubt 'canes will beat Tribe tonight but even a BP win leaves them a point behind having played an extra game. Not ideal for Reds at this point in the season but not catastrophic.

Luckily for the Australian teams there is a fair amount of games amongst ourselves and we may have to wait to round 16 to see how it all shakes out. There is no crystal ball that works for who ends up in finals this year/

Yeah, by all accounts his still playing on injections. Was a bit surprised he travelled for this game to be honest, thought they might have left him at home to give the shoulder a bit more of a rest.

HMP seems to end up starting in all the shit sandwich games. Doesn’t do him any favours either as I honestly think he’s stalled a bit this year in terms of being a genuine number 1 option at SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) level.

Have to assume Lynagh starts from now through finals.

Good to see him still get game time to develop though. Same with Ryan. Defences have seen you now and will game plan for it. He gets way more out of that then a Club game which they can get by at current level and errors not be exposed as quickly.

I agree he wouldn't be seen as a genuine no.1 option at 10 right now but by 2027 I still think he can and will be. 21 with less than 20 games to his name. He's still in rookie territory we just know his name quite well.

If you play most games either colts of grade from 18 you should be around 40 games at 21. The problem we have is an ageist approach to senior rugby where they are considered 'babies' at 20.

I’m of the opinion you’re old enough if you’re good enough. But I think 20s by a large aren’t developed enough to play super rugby. There will be the occasional few Pakeho the most recent one. Let the kids play shute or hospital cup, show they can handle and dominate that level then move up. Obviously, money is an issue.

Some people were calling for HMP to be blooded by the Wallabies last year.

To be fair I thought he looked much better last year playing more direct and running a bit more.

If only he and Lynagh were a bit taller and maybe 10kg heavier, I think they would make a good 10/12 combo.
