Waratahs 2025

Porecki is apparently due back after the bye, though I'd take that with a grain of salt. I don't think there has been anything specific on Vailanu.

The Tahs run home is a tad challenging

ACT Brumbies vs NSW Waratahs
NSW Waratahs vs Queensland Reds
NSW Waratahs vs Crusaders
Western Force vs NSW Waratahs
Blues vs NSW Waratahs

We could lose them all

And it wouldn't surprise anyone.

I'll back this jekyll & hyde mob to at least 1 win at home.

This week could be rough with the Brums out for revenge following the Tahs loss and last weeks home showing.

I hope they can play a bit of spoiler which would also help themselves and a win v the Force as they have a bye in the last round and let all the Force players come home and play SS.

Last year they did. Some might stay around but fairly sure you'll see guys like Horton, Poolman, Robertson, Leahy back at Uni then Harris at Easts

On the Force site it lists NSW Clubs against the many of the players and WA ones against others. Even BPA has Southern Districts listed. Nic White has Eastwood and Queanbeyan. Not many are listing WA Clubs

Who would you like to be playing? That is the 3 other Aus teams, A Blues spiralling downward, and Crusaders at home. Not sure how you look for improvement given the actual teams in SuperP. Repeat matches against Fiji and Samoa and Force at home?

Scares me re Wilson but hopeful they can get in his ear that he is the future and sign him past the WC if possible.

You've been in 21 games now and 6 starts. Thomas at the Reds is coming into his own now at almost 60 games having sat behind Tate.

The Gordon signing does mean the Wallabies staff must see him as the guy. Tate's been good, White up & down but good and Thomas good. With how Wilsons showing impressive signs it really puts players like Lonergan a way back in my mind.

Each have extended for 2 more years. All good retains IMO.

He's exceeded everyone's expectations you'd think. Felt like a squad filler initially but he's earnt his spot and role and now an extension. Hes only 26 but definitely ticked the journeyman box off.
  • Perth Spirit (2016 - 2017)
  • Western Force (2018 - 2020)
  • Queensland Reds (2020 - 2021)
  • San Diego Legion (2021 - 2022)
  • North Harbour (2022 - 2022)
  • San Diego Legion (2023 - 2023)
  • North Harbour (2023 - 2023)
  • Hurricanes (2023 - 2023)
  • North Harbour (2023 - 2023)
  • Hurricanes (2024 - 2024)
  • North Harbour (2024 - 2024)
  • New South Wales Waratahs (2024 - 2025)

Listing those North Habour, San Deigo and Hurricanes stints repeatedly and separately kind of inflates it a bit

If he wasn't on a continuing contract though he probably came home in between and got the call again but I get what you mean. Like Cricketers bouncing from side to side throughout the year. Still, the bloke has really earnt everything he's got.

Could we see him getting a call up to the wallabies squad for TRC and Lions just for experience and potential game time.
