Chiefs v Force - Mount Maunganui, 19:05 ANZAC Day

Was always going to be a tough assignment with all the Force’s injuries and replacements. They competed well in the 1st half but unfortunately the lack of depth off the bench was telling. Not to mention that the Chiefs are a world class outfit.

Chiefs way too good tonight. Force just looked dead, missing too many players. Nothing went their way and doleman missed a lot against the force which frustrated Swaine. It's a force b team at best. Once we knew who was rubbed out I didn't expect anything less and was surprised with the first half effort. Disappointing the defence was that bad though. Leaking over 50 is never good

I tell you what - it is strikingly obvious that NZ rugby gets first dibs at the Kiwi athletic talent while rugby is using the dregs in Aus. Their backs are just SO much bigger, stronger and faster than ours.

Respect to Force but honest, that has to be a tough game as a player.
I will be honest in my picks I had Chiefs winning with highest score. That wasn't disrespecting the Rorce, I said after the Force/Canes extra time last week I said then the biggest winner from that were Chiefs and Brumbies. Force boys were stuffed towards end of game.

It's a tough ask flying all the way over on sat night after that and then the short turnaround. I'm wondering if some of our outs are because they wrote the game off and are concentrating on the blues ? I hope not. Can't be doing that at this time of the season

Poolman needs to learn how to finish. Sound like a broken record when it comes to poolman
He’s shit.

So the Force have played twice in NZ with 50 put on them each time. In a way confined in my mind the Force are in the same category of the Tahs. Coach will want to make finals for the resume but not a threat for a push deep or title.

Yeah the brief moments where the Force wern't getting absolutely battered in every facet of the game Donaldson and Potter looked sharp.

Force....and i say WE....because I'm fully invested. Lacking that one superstar that takes over the game when things are tough and drags you across the line. As great as Tizzano has been we need more pilfers at crucial moments.

It’s a side with a couple stars but then guys like Coxon, Robertson, Burey, Poolman who are genuine Clubbies (good ones but still Clubbies) who have got a pro contract.

I also thought tonight Jacomb at 10 showed why I like him, he controlled that game well. Also thought the fact the Chiefs ended up with a 9 on one wing, and flanker on the other and still didn't get lost said a bit for the team, there seemed no great panic.
