It’s round five and the Brumbies finally get to play a home game tomorrow after trips to Tokyo, Brisbane and Melbourne already in 2018. This week they take on the Sharks and the phrase ‘must win game’ is already being thrown around as they try and get their season back on track and keep in touch with their conference rivals. The Wallabies were down to 13 men at one stage with both Michael Hooper and Kurtley Beale in the bin for infringements and they did…

It was a game fitting of the Grand Final between first and second place on the ladder and it came down to the final minutes for Country to seal the game with two late tries. A hat trick to winger Filipo Daugunu and a double to captain Duncan Paia’aua, who also had a hand in a few of the other tries, were instrumental in the Country win but the Vikings will rue their second half after letting slip a 21-7 lead at the…

It was a real battle as the lead changed hands numerous times but the Vikings came out on top despite a late surge from Perth. Rob Valetini was immense for the Vikings with the match a huge forwards battle but an unlikely hat trick from Perth lock Richie Arnold before half time wasn’t enough for the Spirit as they came up just short of a comeback win. The Match It didn’t take the visitors long…
